Location

  • We’re located beachfront in Playa El Tunco, next to Monkeylala.

    When you arrive in El Tunco, drive into town and take a left turn down the calle privada across from ‘Mr. Coffee’. We’re the last hotel at the end of the road.

  • We’re 40-50 minutes from the airport, depending on traffic.

  • We have a wonderful driver we can recommend we’ve been using for 7+ years. Please ask us for more details and we’ll happily share his contact information with you.

  • There are dozens of restaurants just steps from the hotel.

  • The nearest grocery store is about a 5 minute drive away, called Super Selectos.

    In town there are many ‘tiendas’ where you can buy fruits, vegetables, eggs and other basics.

  • The water is okay to use for showering and brushing your teeth, however we would not recommend drinking the it.

Amenities

  • Check-in is 3 pm

    Check-out is 11 am

  • Breakfast is not included and there is no restaurant at the hotel.

    We do offer a shared kitchen.

  • We do not offer surfboard rentals or lessons but have many preferred instructors we can share with you.

    In addition, there are many rental places in town just steps from the hotel.

  • We do - parking is on site and free while staying at the hotel.

  • We have security on-site from 6 pm to 5 am.

  • We offer fiber optic internet, with speeds of +94 mbps

  • We allow car camping - please check our rates under ‘rooms’.

  • We do not offer dorm rooms at Tortuga. Each room is a private room with a private bathroom.

  • We do, the kitchen is shared for all guests and outfitted for all cooking needs.

  • Yes, we have security during the night that can check you in.

  • We do not allow animals at the hotel.
